Green Pekoe Cafe is located on the highest point of the Malino Highlands hills; a staggering altitude of 1600m above sea level.

As you walk down the path towards the cafe, a gentle cool breeze will be waiting to greet you as you enjoy the garden and mountain views.

Green Pekoe Cafe has created a menu of delicious food and refreshing drinks, the perfect accompaniment while relaxing and taking in the view of the city of Makassar and also the extensive tea garden.

Our cafe is one of the most famous photo spots in Malino Highlands due to the breath-taking views.

Green Pekoe Café is available for office events, birthdays, or private functions. 

Enjoying food and drinks in the very cool air, with a natural view of the hills covered in green tea gardens, creates a very different impression than if you are in a restaurant in the city.

Natural tea from the village of Malino, which we process in the traditional way, untouched by modern machines and chemicals, will make for an extraordinary tea experience. The tea is not available in shops anywhere, because our tea from Malino Highlands is for our guests only to enjoy and purchase.

Apart from a full menu of teas, we also provide snacks, such as French fries, fried bananas, and fried cassava, which we get from our local community farmers. Organic produce is grown using traditional agricultural methods, which limit the involvement of modern factors such as synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers. In this way, we are giving our guests a truly organic experience when they dine with us.

Apart from snacks and soft drinks, we have a full menu which is perfect after a day spent enjoying the great outdoors!  Our menu includes favourites such as  fried rice, cap cay, typical Malino fried chicken, Rawon, oxtail soup,  plus so much more.
